The sigh welcoming us to the maple fest.
There were free pancakes as well. Anyone who goes be sure to get one! They're pretty good.
Inside the store there were taste samples. Many of the salsas were amazing!

A man (the father of the man who owns the farm) running the thing (I can't remember the name) that boils down the sap into syrup. Here's an intersting fact. It takes 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup!
They usually get 5 gallons of syrup made in a half hour.
It was in a kettle like this that maple syrup used to be boiled down in. There really isn't sap in the kettle shown, it was just a display.
And of course, we were in Packers territory which is clearly shown by the helmet below...
Sue and I made sure to go armed to the teeth. :)
