Fall Colors Trip

Well, I haven't been posting very much, have I? I'm sorry, and I hope you will enjoy this post.
Last week, my family decided to take a road trip to see some fall colors (sorry I don't have any pictures of it) and enjoyed it so much we decided to repeat the experiment on a different route. We went into Wisconsin through the town of Pepin, and along Pepin Lake and so on. We had a great time. We made a stop along the lake which, unfortunately is the only place I took pictures. I had grabbed the wrong memory card and did not have any more space after that. However, it was a lovely time...

I thought this tree was rather interesting, yellow, green, yellow green...

What appear to be small rocks just next to the water are shells. Lake Pepin  used to have over 30 button-making factories along it that used the shells to make buttons. Now, they are sold to Japan that they use to make pellets (if that is the way to spell it) to help make pearls. Very interesting, huh?

As you can see it was very windy. ;)

My hair was pretty crazy the whole time!

It was a great family trip that we all enjoyed. It was so wonderful to see God's Creation at it's peak. It was simply beautiful!
